We listen to our customers!” Isn’t that what the adverts say?
“You asked us to cut the salt in our biscuits – so we did” or, “You asked us to extend our opening hours – so we did!”
Well, many of our customers told us that they wished they could see what an adapted bathroom or kitchen looked like in real life. So, we listened … and opened a showroom with room sets featuring many of the most popular adaptations, and demonstrating that our adapted rooms can still be dream rooms!
By far the most popular adaptation in the bathroom involves removing the bath to install a level access shower or a low-level shower tray. The Adaptation Centre showcases different types of accessible shower rooms, sanitaryware, furnishings and finishes – proving that a domestic bathroom can be made accessible without looking like a hospital.
You also asked us to do the same for kitchens – so we’re currently designing new rooms sets where you can come and experience a fully accessible kitchen with some very cool gadgets.
The Adaptation Centre means that we can provide a comprehensive design and installation service – from showing you what your adaptation could look like to showing you what your adaptation does look like. If you like what you see we’ll arrange to survey your home prior to designing a bespoke and accessible solution. Then our fitting team will install it to perfection.
The Adaptation Centre is located in Chelmsford on the Waterhouse Business Centre just behind Homebase. There’s plenty of parking and the building is completely accessible.
