Everyone should feel confident, comfortable and in control of toileting, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Most standard toilets aren’t designed for individuals with limited mobility and can present a real challenge.

At the John Ford Group, we’re passionate about ensuring maximum independence by providing state-of-the-art adaptations to promote independent living.

When the utmost convenience is required to increase self-sufficiency and promote dignity, the Geberit AquaClean is the perfect toileting solution…

What Is The Geberit AquaClean Mera Care?

The Geberit AquaClean is more than just a toilet. It’s a total self-care experience which ensures complete personal hygiene from start to finish.

What makes it different from a standard toilet is its fully contained wash and dry cycle. An ambient pressure spray followed by a warm air-dry for immediate skin protection and cleanliness.

It’s totally paper-free, which reduces waste, is great for the environment and won’t ever leave you panicking in a pandemic!

We understand that everyone’s needs are different. The Mera Care package is completely changeable based on the requirements of the individual user. Making toileting accessible for everyone.

How Does It Work?

An AquaClean toilet reduces the need for physical interaction from others during toileting by enabling an individual to operate it with the simple press of a button, wave of a hand or eye movement (additional Eyegaze technology required).

Any of these actions will start the warm water wash and air-dry functions before automatic flushing gets rid of the wastewater and prepares for the next use.

You can adapt the spray intensity, arm position, oscillation and temperature settings to suit the individual and store preferences for up to four different users. This makes it a brilliant choice for both individual and multi-residence homes.

This all has a significant impact on increasing a person’s comfort, confidence and capability, which reduces toileting stress, promotes independent living and improves levels of personal hygiene through automated self-care.

Who Is It For?

Everyone can use a Geberit AquaClean. Its eco-friendly use makes it an ideal addition to any home or building, while the adaptable wash, dry and height settings make it accessible for everyone.

The people who benefit the most are…

  • Those with reduced mobility
  • Obese clients
  • The elderly

Individuals who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and similar illnesses may also find that washing with water and gentle air-drying, rather than wiping with paper, helps to reduce skin soreness.
